Mom Tells Grandma Her House is Too Dusty for Grandkids to Visit. Here’s How They Fixed it
Ruth Wilson, 79, was at an all time low in life. She had six amazing grandchildren she loved more than anything in the world.
It was the highlight or her day to spend time with them. But something was stopping her from ever getting to see them.
Ruth was sitting on the couch on an average sunday waiting for her daughter and grandchildren to visit any minute. Instead, the phone rang. Her daughter said they wouldn’t be able to come today or anytime soon.
“That call,” Ruth said “brought me to tears”
Her daughter said that the grandkids were almost instantly irritated, getting stuffy noses, sneezing, coughing and watery eyes when they came over. So they hated it.
“I swear I didn’t even notice the dust,” Ruth said. “I was starting to have difficulty getting in and out of cars, so it would almost be impossible for me to visit them at their house. I was scared I would barely ever get to see them.”
The dust problem needed to be fixed if she wanted to ever spend time with her grandkids. So she tried the usual “remedies”
“I tried every single thing I could,” Ruth said. “Everything. Calling a cleaning company to deep clean dust once a week? Nothing! I got so desperate I got my carpet and furniture replaced thinking that was it. Huge waste of money! My daughter said the dusty air was still terrible.”
With seemingly no way to see her grandkids, Ruth was left with two choices: sell her home she cherished for over 40 years, or never see her grandchildren in her own house again.
But little did she know, help was at her front door. Literally.
A long time friend Ruth hadn’t seen in over 10 years stopped by for a surprise visit. “I invited her in and her face instantly changed. She started coughing and asked “When’s the last time you dusted this place?”
“I told her I just paid a cleaning company 3 days ago! I’ve tried everything.” Her friend looked so confused, she said she couldn’t stay long and went back to her car.
“I was embarrassed, it’s been 10 years and she stayed for two minutes?” Ruth says. “But then about an hour later she heard a knock on the door. “Oh no, another visitor who won’t stay long” she thought.
But her friend was back with these little gray bags in her hand. She came inside and started placing them all around the house in each room. She started walking back towards the front door and said:
“Trust me. But for now lets talk on the porch before this dust bothers me anymore.”
“Well,” Ruth says, “it worked. The next week I called my daughter and told her to come over and see if that dustiness was really gone. I expected her to come in and walk straight out the door. But something magical happened.”
Her daughter said “Wow. It feels like a whole new house! What did you do?”
I told her my friend gave me these little charcoal bags that said “BreatheGreen” on them. I didn’t have any idea how they worked but I was so happy. Ruth excitedly said “Get those grandkids over here!”
The next day all six grandkids came over and had such a great time they even stayed the night and watched movies!
“I couldn’t believe it,” she said. “I finally got to see my grandkids again and was no longer feeling so lonely.” I ordered 5 more bags to put in my attic, garage, spare bedrooms to make sure this never happened again.
The clever little trick that cleans the air in your home by removing air particles…
How they work…it’s ingenious. Take A Look.
Activated bamboo charcoal is what’s used in professional water-treatment facilities. (You know, like the one you pay every month.)
Basically, it works like a dust and mold magnet. Once the dust particles and mycotoxins come in contact with it, they’re completely stuck, with nowhere to go.
It’s made of pure carbon, with millions of tiny microscopic holes in it, like a really fine net. Air can flow right through these holes, but microscopic particles like odor molecules, dust, and even mold toxins get stuck inside.
With over 763,419 BreatheGreen Purifiers sold, we had to try it for ourselves…
How To Use:
- Simply place the bag in or near shoes, gym bags, luggage, suitcases, cars, bathroom, freshly painted walls, fridges, etc.
- No need to wash the bag…Every month, leave the bag out to rest in the sun for an hour to “refresh” the bag, making it ready to use again!
- After 2 years of fresher air, simply cut the bag open and sprinkle around your garden to improve soil quality!
We’ve read thousands of positive reviews raving about BreatheGreen, but in order to truly believe in it, we had to test it for ourselves. So, we ordered a bunch of BreatheGreen bags (which arrived at our door 3 days later) and started conducting tests everyday:
Week 1
This product caught my attention because I hate dust. Almost every morning I wake up with a stuffy nose and itchy eyes because of all the dust in my bedroom. So I wanted to see if BreatheGreen could help me get rid of that. So I placed one of the bags in my room and let it be.
Result: I left the room and went about my week (and even forgot I had put this thing in my room). After a few days, I went to sleep just like any other regular day. But when I woke up I was shocked…my nose wasn’t all stuffy and runny. I didn’t feel the need to scratch my eyes. I was actually capable of taking a deep breath! My husband and I were completely amazed!
Week 2
For the next week, I wanted to see if BreatheGreen could do the same for my daughter. Maybe our room was just a fluke and this device didn’t work as well, so I decided to give a try. I laid one of these purifiers in the corner of her bedroom and just waited.
Result: The next week I started to notice her room was a lot less dusty on top of the drawers. I was stunned but I thought that this could be chance…so I decided to remove the one in our bedroom. The next day my daughter was feeling just fine. I was convinced the BreatheGreen was actually working, but I still wanted to try it out for longer.
Week 3
After using these purifying bags for a few weeks, I am truly convinced they are amazing. I haven’t woke up one feeling like a zombie since putting these BreatheGreen bags in our rooms. My family says they are feeling more refreshed every morning.
Important Note: We only used the BreatheGreen in our bedrooms. We didn’t use it in the living room or any other room, so we still get flared up now and then. But, I’m ordering right now 5 more BreathGreen bags so I can put one in every room of my house. They are amazing!!
MY FINAL THOUGHTS
After using BreatheGreen in my home, I am convinced that BreatheGreen really works as well as everyone says. To be honest, I haven’t seen anything like this on the market, and I’m truly blown away by how well it works.
If you are looking to transform your home’s air without wasting your money, I would highly recommend some BreatheGreen to try for yourself.

How can we leave it in the sun for hours before we use it. It’s winter. Can we microwave it and work the same way.

Would they take all the dust in a warehouse and help with the black mold that is stuck on the concrete walls? If so I would look into getting two of them to put around my desk

This sounds exactly like what I need. I have not been able to dust my apartment for 4 years. I can’t even vacuum my rug because the dust clogs up the vacuum too fast. And by myself and I am disabled. I am able to cook for myself and bathe myself but cleaning is very hard. Thank you for reading my comment. Lisa Roberts PS I hope these are affordable as I live on a $500 a month income.
